The winner will have multiple options with the four-bedroom detached house, including residing there full-time, keeping it as a vacation getaway, renting it out, or selling it. This property is owned by Jon and Annmarie Nurse from Dorset, who purchased it 11 years ago and enhanced its beauty with local chestnut wood accents and charming vaulted ceilings. Moreover, they plan to donate up to $64,600 (£50,000) from the raffle proceeds to The Children’s Society, a charity operating in England and Wales.
According to Annemarie, the property offers “a truly peaceful and tranquil setting for switching off straight away.” She adds, “There’s amazing local food and wine, along with breathtaking views of the alpine mountains; however, the coast and stunning cities are also easily accessible. The area is perfect for both leisurely walks and adventurous mountain climbing. You could be walking and encounter a family of wild boar—babies included—or spot Bambi around the next corner. In the local national park, you might even see brown bears in their natural habitat.”
The house features three bathrooms, a spacious living room, and a fully-fitted kitchen equipped with essential integrated appliances, such as an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The dining room comfortably seats eight, complete with a charming feature fireplace. Additionally, there is a delightful dining area in the courtyard, allowing you to enjoy outdoor meals.
