Experience the Iconic Friends at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood
Now you can get a true taste of Friends at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood. This fan experience — which takes place on the actual working Warner Bros. lot in Burbank where the NBC sitcom was originally shot — reopened on Saturday, debuting an expanded Central Perk Café and Friends boutique.
Dine on Friends-Inspired Menu Items
As part of the “Stage 48: Script to Screen” stop on the tour, visitors can now enjoy Friends-inspired menu items, including the infamous English trifle that Jennifer Aniston’s character, Rachel Green, created for Thanksgiving. Yes, the one where she accidentally blended a traditional dessert with a shepherd’s pie due to her cookbook pages getting stuck together. (Rest assured, the version served here doesn’t feature any meat mixed with sweet and savory flavors.)
Menu Highlights
Additionally, guests can savor Central Perk’s own cupcakes, New York-style cheesecake (unlike the one that fell from Mama’s Little Bakery), and NYC deli favorites such as corned beef melts and pizza wedges. There’s also a selection of drinks inspired by the characters, made with a Central Perk special blend — choosing from a matcha latte called The Rachel, a classic flat white called The Ross, a caramel coconut latte named The Chandler, a cookies-and-cream ice blend called The Phoebe, and a mango cold brew tea referred to as The Joey.
Recreated Sets and Exclusive Merchandise
All dining items can be enjoyed in recreated sets that feature Central Perk, Joey and Chandler’s apartment, Monica’s apartment, and scenes from Greenwich Village. Costumes from the show are also on display. Consequently, fans can conclude their experience by shopping at the Friends boutique, where exclusive products not available anywhere else, including kitchen and dining wares, can be found.
Tour Availability and Additional Features
Friends fans can currently access the tour and experiences only on weekends. However, it will expand to five days a week (Thursday through Monday) starting July 15.
The tour also encompasses other new and expanded features within the Warner Bros. family of entertainment, such as a “Storytelling Showcase” documenting nearly a century of Warner Bros., along with an “Action and Magic Made Here” exhibit featuring elements of the DC Universe and Harry Potter films.
Visitors can also see Sheldon’s apartment from The Big Bang Theory, a Batmobile from Tim Burton’s original Batman, costumes from Suicide Squad, Harry Potter’s recreated cupboard under the stairs, and the late Chadwick Boseman’s jersey from 42 on the tour.
