THE LOCATION

Villa The Beji is an opulent villa situated at the confluence of Canggu and Berawa, perfect for those seeking to explore beyond the frequently traveled paths of Seminyak while remaining close to the popular attractions of Canggu. The villa is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from the bustling heart of Seminyak, discreetly nestled down a serene path that traverses a moss-covered bridge and a charming river, leading to the expansive 4,000 sqm grounds of the luxurious Villa The Beji.

Having arrived from Singapore, the captivating lawn extending towards the infinity pool provided a refreshing welcome for my family, allowing them the liberty to explore while being securely enclosed within the villa.

Villa The Beji features six sumptuous rooms, each designed as individual suites surrounding the green space and pool area. Each suite offers the contemporary comforts typically found in Bali, including a king-size bed adorned with decorative yet practical mosquito nets, which my daughter affectionately dubbed her ‘princess bed’. The accommodations come equipped with cable television, air conditioning, and complimentary refreshments, leading into a walk-in wardrobe and then into an outdoor bathroom where guests may choose between a conventional shower or an indulgent spa bath. We opted for the shower for a swift return outside to enjoy the attentive, personalized service that catered to our every need.

Exploring the premises with a refreshing beverage in hand, we were exhilarated at every turn—from the various individual relaxation zones inducing a tranquil state, to the playful kids’ air-conditioned media room, equipped with activities for all ages. Looking out the window from the children’s room, we were pleased to discover a tennis court. As avid fans, we took advantage of coaching from the talented Ronaldo. After working up a sweat, we returned to the serene pool with refreshing beverages. The pool was larger than most villas we had previously experienced, and we could have easily engaged in morning laps had we not felt so relaxed.

LUXURY VILLA DINING

Villa The Beji is ideally located for a swift taxi ride to renowned favorites such as Sarong, Barbacoa, and Merah Putih. Moreover, it is adjacent to Berawa and Canggu, where numerous new dining establishments have emerged, including The Slow and Milk and Madu. Nevertheless, we opted for an evening dining experience at the villa due to the enchanting night sky and expansive lawn, which provided an ideal setting for an outdoor feast. Ten of us gathered for a candlelit dinner, discussing with our newly engaged friends the villa’s suitability for an intimate wedding while humorously lamenting the absence of a celebrant to utilize the exquisite floral arrangements, elegant table setting, gourmet cuisine, and moonlit gardens. We enjoyed BBQ meats alongside a selection of the private chef’s specialty dishes, leaving our palates extremely satisfied!

LUXURY VILLA ACTIVITIES

Daily activities ranged from ultimate relaxation with in-room massage services to more engaging pursuits such as pool time with the children, tennis, and trampolining, prior to contemplating excursions outside the villa. Located in proximity to Berawa and Canggu beaches, it is a perfect villa for surfers who wish to confidently leave their families in bliss while embarking on a quick surfing session or to bring their families along to enjoy the renowned Echo Beach.

Another option neighboring Villa The Beji is the newly renovated Finns Recreational Club, which features four world-class water slides and a variety of water activities designed for younger guests. Utilizing the membership cards available at the villa, and just a two-minute walk away, we indulged in the hotel/theme park amenities of the Finns Club, creating an unforgettable day for the children. My advice is to save the club visit until the final day to reward good behavior, ensuring the kids do not incessantly request to return every day.

The Beji is a remarkable villa that merits consideration for larger groups, with or without children. Particularly for those accustomed to the established luxury of accommodations in Seminyak, Villa The Beji offers an opportunity to venture a bit further to uncover some new gems in Bali, all while retaining the familiar comforts just an arm’s length away.

The accommodating staff exceed expectations in personalizing the villa experience, providing guests with a private driver, customizing menus to cater to dietary requirements, and are readily available to care for and entertain children, allowing adults to genuinely relax during mealtime with good friends and family.
