Multicultural Malmö, the capital of Skåne county and Sweden’s third-largest city, is almost entirely surrounded by water. This city occupies a prime location approximately 40 km east of Copenhagen across the Öresund Strait, and is a short hop across the Baltic Sea from present-day Germany.
