Wat Koh Tao temple is a modern Buddhist temple located on the island of Koh Tao in Thailand. Established in May 2018, it is the only Buddhist temple of its kind on the island. With a 600-meter (2,000-foot) drop at one end and a solid rock wall at the other, there is minimal room for error.

We recently boarded the Avalon Alegria in Porto, Portugal, embarking on a journey into the breathtaking Douro Valley. This European River cruise resembled the intimate small ship expeditions of our past, standing in stark contrast to the traditional river cruises that often lead to overcrowded ports and lengthy bus rides instead of genuine exploration.
