For me, experiencing the Cotswolds is undoubtedly one of the top day trips in England, particularly for those based near Bristol or Bath. Nestled within an area of remarkable natural beauty, the Cotswolds features picturesque rolling hills and charming villages.
Once in the Cotswolds, make it a point to visit Bibury and capture the essence of the iconic Arlington Row. The homes here are exceptionally charming. Following that, consider a drive to Stow-on-the-Wold or the equally enchanting Castlecombe.
2.) Bath
Located conveniently near the Cotswolds, Bath is a Roman city steeped in history, and it’s an extraordinary destination for a day trip, approximately a few hours by train from central London.
