Top Spots to Watch the Super Bowl
Whether you’re watching the Super Bowl for the football action or the commercial breaks, you want to be in a place that offers good food, great drinks, and where everybody knows your name (or, well maybe not). Super Bowl Sunday is essentially a national holiday in the US, and while there be slews of watch parties at a buddy’s man cave, there will be even more bars opening their doors to the masses. Here are 7 spots to watch the big game.
Lillie’s Victorian Establishment
With its lavish and ornate décor, adorned with wooden carvings and antiques from an 1800’s estate in Northern Ireland, Lillie’s Victorian Establishment may seem like an odd place to watch the big game. However, with a projector and two 100-inch TVs at its Times Square and Union Square locations, Lillie’s is a prime spot to enjoy the Super Bowl.
Both locations will feature a “Guess The Score” game (winners will receive a $100 gift card). Moreover, the Union Square locale is slated to offer an additional exclusive package of eight house beers and chicken wings for just $50.
Kansas City Power & Light District
The Kansas City Power & Light District is known for being the go-to destination in downtown Kansas City for a great time. The “Kansas City Live!” area within the district is popular for watch parties and is expected to draw more than 10,000 football fans for the Super Bowl.
The game itself will be shown on a big screen outdoors. However, if standing shoulder to shoulder in the cold isn’t appealing, numerous neighboring establishments like Johnny’s Tavern, McFadden’s Sports Saloon, and No Other Pub will also be broadcasting the game.
The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails
The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails is an ideal Las Vegas spot for sports fans who enjoy live entertainment. Not only does The Barbershop regularly host big events, but you can also get a full-on shave and/or razor cut while watching the Super Bowl.
The bar portion of The Barbershop is actually a speakeasy, which you enter through an unassuming janitor door. Once inside its Prohibition-era inspired parlor, enjoy a drink from its extensive beverage menu, which even includes a subsection titled “Fancy S**t.”
Psycho Suzi’s Motor Lounge
This Tiki Bar and pizza joint, Psycho Suzi’s Motor Lounge, aims to deliver “faux paradise” to the “Nordeast.” Its drink menu offers a unique blend of tropical island fare, classic cinema, and punk rock, mirroring its comfort food-oriented cuisine.
The motto for Psycho Suzi’s Super Bowl party is “Eat, Drink, Yell, Cheer.” This year’s offerings include an unlimited pizza bar, a tater tot buffet, and discounted drinks, all for a $20 buy-in, alongside a chance to participate in a “special drink bingo game.”
10Pin Bowling Lounge
The 10pin Bowling Lounge seeks to redefine the traditional bowling alley experience. Located near the Marina City district’s House Of Blues, this Chicago staple boasts 24 luxury bowling lanes that face the largest HD video wall in the city. It’s a perfect spot to watch the Super Bowl, offering unlimited bowling and a pizza buffet for just $25. Reservations are recommended.
American Social Bar & Restaurant
Can’t score Super Bowl tickets? Don’t worry; Miami offers plenty of options. American Social Bar & Restaurant – nicknamed “AMSO” by locals – is both a high-energy sports bar and a music-centric restaurant.
AMSO overlooks the Miami River with a beautiful waterfront patio. The establishment keeps its kitchen open late, making it a convenient spot near other highly-rated venues like Blackbird Ordinary, Graziano’s In Brickell, and The River Seafood Oyster Bar.
Team Tactics
Conveniently located off I-95 in Woodbridge, Virginia, this 18,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art laser tag facility is hosting a Super Bowl watch party in its combat café, surrounded by televisions showing the big game as well as a live feed from the laser tag arenas.
Team Tactics features four arenas for both team and solo laser tag challenges, including a unique “Office Arena.” For food and drink offerings, expect pizza and appetizer-oriented finger foods.
