Jamesport: Biophilia Organic Farm
This 14-acre farm produces a wide range of crops including organic potatoes, tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers, beans, peas, onions, garlic, leeks, squash, kale, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, and more. Everything cultivated on the farm is NOFA-NY Certified Organic. They operate a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) where you can join for an annual fee to receive weekly shares of farm-fresh produce.
Additionally, they sell their produce at their own farm stand and at the Port Jefferson Village Farmers Market.

Utilizing certified organic growing practices, the produce at this farm is sustainably raised. They adhere to the National Organic Production Standards and have received organic certification from NOFA-NY. Their offerings include Jersey Knight asparagus, two varieties of bok choy, four varieties of eggplant, Music Pink Hardneck garlic, fresh greens like mizuna, arugula, and kale, as well as various types of potatoes and over a dozen types of tomatoes, including Green Zebra and San Marzano.
