The Best States for Your Next Camper Van Adventure

Hitting the road in a camper van is one of the most intimate and exciting ways to experience the USA. As we set off on a two-year road trip with our dog in 2017, we camped in 48 states, hiked countless national parks, enjoyed local cuisine, and traversed the country in our vintage camper van. This journey taught us that some states are particularly well-suited for van camping adventures.

Below, we share the ten best states perfect for your next camper or RV trip. From breathtaking landscapes to unique outdoor adventures, these destinations promise unforgettable experiences.

1. Maine
