There’s so much more to Greece than just its beautiful islands. We had the opportunity to explore the less-traveled parts of the country, specifically the Western region.
In the past, we often found ourselves drawn to iconic destinations like Athens and various islands. However, this time we decided to embark on a captivating road trip through Western Greece.
This part of Greece undeniably feels and appears distinct compared to the islands. The landscapes are more rustic, showcasing quaint fishing villages, monasteries perched atop mountains, a serene lake, and charming homes that reflect the region’s authentic character. Beautiful sunsets by the lake add to its charm.
