Examine the list below to discover the finest activities to enjoy in London. Please reach out to us if you require further assistance or tips! Enjoy your time in our city!
1.) Bermondsey Street
Bermondsey Street constitutes one of my preferred locations in Central London. It embodies a delightful village ambiance and is conveniently positioned just a short distance from the waterfront at London Bridge.
This area is particularly enjoyable during a weekend afternoon when the independent shops and cozy galleries are accessible to visitors. I particularly admire White Cube for an afternoon visit; their frequently changing exhibitions make it especially captivating.
Afterward, I recommend stopping at the Woolpack for a pint or at Watchhouse for a coffee in the historic Victorian establishment. Their coffee is exceptional.
For a meal, consider visiting José for some of the finest tapas in South London. The atmosphere is laid-back, but it can get quite busy, so plan your visit accordingly.
Also, consider taking a Westminster to Greenwich boat tour. It is a family-friendly excursion and a splendid way to appreciate London from the Thames River.
Don’t overlook the opportunity to join a magical Harry Potter walking tour in London. It is both enjoyable and highly recommended, especially among fellow enthusiasts.
2.) Buckingham Palace
It is safe to say that Buckingham Palace is a well-known landmark, right? Visiting this iconic site is considered one of the premier activities in London for anyone interested in the Royal family.
You can appreciate the stunning views from outside and The Mall around Trafalgar Square; these locations are splendid for photographs.
However, if you wish to get closer, consider purchasing tickets to access the interior of Buckingham Palace during the summer months. This offers a chance to explore the State Rooms, observe the Throne Room, and enjoy the gardens.
With these remarkable entry tickets to Buckingham Palace, visitors can also witness some of the Royal Collection within the palace.
Having visited it twice, we can affirm that it is a remarkable experience!
3.) Camden Market
Nestled just north of Kings Cross, the district of Camden stands out in London with its eclectic markets, unique shops, and lively atmosphere.
Moreover, it is an excellent locale for lunch, featuring numerous market stalls that present a wide variety of culinary delights. Visitors can easily dedicate an entire afternoon to exploring Camden!
Additionally, for authentic fish and chips, stop by Poppies, which I believe is one of the finest in London, consistently exceeding expectations. Enjoy it on the go or dine in at this popular spot.
For a delightful live performance, consider attending a show at the Camden Roundhouse, renowned for hosting events year-round and regarded as one of London’s premier live music venues.
Additionally, you can easily arrange a charming canal boat tour from Camden to Little Venice. It’s a unique experience and convenient way to enjoy the sights.
