With its lovely golden sands, families will find it an ideal spot for a fun-filled day at the beach. Nevertheless, visitors should remain cautious of rip currents, which can occur in this area.
The beach features a convenient parking area, and visitors have options to rent sun loungers and umbrellas. Moreover, a range of water activities and sports ensures that every visitor has plenty to do at Coral Bay Beach—even the most adventurous nature enthusiasts.
Coral Bay Beach proudly holds the Blue Flag designation, awarded to only the cleanest and safest beaches in Europe. This recognition showcases its pristine waters and top-notch facilities.
2.) Cape Greko Peninsula (Blue Lagoon)

As with many popular beaches in Cyprus, Matronissos can get crowded, thus providing a welcome retreat at the nearby Ayia Thekla Beach, which offers a more tranquil experience.

Regarded as the birthplace of Aphrodite, Aphrodite’s Beach is conveniently located just 15 minutes from Paphos Airport, making it an excellent first stop if exploring the western coast of Cyprus.
Aphrodite’s Beach is a pebble beach, so while you won’t find fine sand here, it’s still a lovely spot to visit—especially in flip-flops or water shoes. The sunsets seen from this location are truly spectacular.
Additionally, don’t forget to visit Petra tou Romiou, the iconic rock where, according to Greek mythology, Aphrodite was born.

8.) Fig Tree Bay
A mere 15-minute drive from Ayia Napa, Fig Tree Bay stands out as one of the finest beaches in Cyprus, ideal for those touring the island.

Moreover, Fig Tree Bay offers essential amenities such as restaurants, rental loungers, and family-friendly accommodations. If possible, visit in the late afternoon; while it faces east, the sunset here is truly majestic.
9.) Kourion Beach
Located about a 25-minute drive west of Limassol, Kourion Beach is a sprawling paradise that exudes tranquility.
Thanks to minimal development, Kourion Beach has managed to maintain its peaceful atmosphere, inviting visitors to unwind amidst its stunning beauty.
Although dining options may be limited, Chris Blue Beach Bar is an informal spot where you can enjoy tasty souvlaki and other local dishes while taking in the seaside views.
10.) Konnos Beach
Konnos Beach, located near Cape Greco Peninsula and Ayia Napa (approximately a 12-minute drive away), is a charming destination that beautifully captures the essence of Cyprus.
This relatively small beach provides all the essentials for a perfect day in the sun. Additionally, enthusiasts can visit Mike’s Watersports to enjoy activities, including jet skiing and paddleboarding. This beach also presents opportunities to spot turtles in the crystal-clear waters.
Parking can be tricky; however, this location on Google Maps is one of the best options for on-road parking near Konnos Beach.
