Over the years, we’ve explored Edmonton and truly cherished our visits. With a vast array of restaurants, the iconic Ice Castles of Edmonton, fat biking routes, and various attractions, it’s a city that shines year-round, even if winter brings frigid temperatures.

Visiting Muttart Conservatory is truly an underrated experience. Although it may seem unimpressive from the outside, the real wonder lies within the glass pyramids. Inside, you will discover one of Canada’s largest botanic gardens, making it a must-visit at any time of year.

My first visit to Rogers Place was for a hockey game, and I had a phenomenal experience! The atmosphere was electric, with enthusiastic chants like let’s go oilers echoing throughout the venue.

Edmonton Mall is colossal, possibly the largest shopping mall I’ve encountered. It’s a destination in its own right, filled with more than just shops. Inside, you can discover an indoor water park, bowling alley, and an indoor theme park. Notably, it houses one of the highest indoor rollercoasters globally, where I couldn’t help but scream with exhilaration while riding it.
5.) Elk Island National Park
While Elk Island National Park isn’t located directly in Edmonton, it’s easily accessible by a short car ride. This picturesque park is rich in wildlife, featuring lakes and wetlands. Visitors can enjoy watching buffalo in the summer or exploring on bicycles.
