We had two glorious days in Yala National Park with a total of three outings in the park. Touring with a private driver and guide gave us the luxury of spotting wildlife at our own pace without the crowds. We enjoyed two nights atThe Cinnamon Wild Lodge where we stayed right in the middle of wildlife.This was how a safari in Sri Lanka was meant to be.
We love Sri Lanka. Having visited Sri Lanka four times, we still manage to discover something new. It is one of the few countries that we actually felt sad leaving. While visiting this beautiful island located off the southern coast of India in the middle of the Indian Ocean, we enjoyed the warm Sri Lankan hospitality, had awesome wildlife encounters, and enjoyed some much-needed time on the beach.
