Recently, a friend shared an amusing Facebook photo taken at the beach. Although she intended to be prominently featured, only about a third of her body was captured—just an arm, a leg, some of a backpack, and a vast stretch of sand! After inquiring about the mishap, she explained that her partner had snapped the picture, leading to the hilarious result. In a playful act of defiance (or perhaps solidarity), she chose to make it her profile photo, which is a delightful choice that made me laugh—especially knowing the context. Inspired by this, I decided to explore the internet for some of the worst travel photography—images that are so badly taken, they become amusingly good!
