Jaipur

Jaipur, the capital of India’s largest state, Rajasthan, is often referred to as the Pink City due to its distinct pink-colored buildings. Richly adorned with beautiful palaces and majestic forts, it is nestled against the backdrop of the lush Aravalli Range. Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Jaipur was one of the earliest planned cities in modern India, earning UNESCO World Heritage status in July 2019.
