The subsequent morning in Niagara-on-the-Lake commenced with an unexpected turn. Following an extended and relaxed breakfast by the fire, I expressed a desire to visit a maple syrup establishment just outside of town, recalling my fondness for sweets articulated in the previous entry.
Okay, don’t judge me, but I hadn’t really heard of ice wine before our trip to Canada. I had literally no clue on any of it! Now, it’s no secret that I’m a sucker for anything wine-related, so as soon as I heard about ice wine in Canada, I knew I had to visit one of the vineyards. It just all sounded so intriguing and totally delicious.
