Muang Ngoi Neua is a relatively undiscovered tourist destination in Laos that has seen a modest increase in visitors in recent years. Although this growth is limited in comparison to overall numbers coming to Laos, it has led to enhanced amenities and has become recognized as a stop on the well-known Banana Pancake Trail throughout Southeast Asia.
