Upon my arrival in Antigua, one of the initial recommendations I received was to explore Shirley Heights.
First things first, make your way to Antigua!
The undulating coast of Antigua contains a multitude of tucked-away coves and quiet beaches – rumor has it there’s one for every day of the year.
Prior to my departure to Antigua, I had received commendations regarding the stunning beaches and excellent snorkelling opportunities available. Therefore, after a refreshing day of exploration, my primary objective was to engage in snorkelling.
Google “Antigua,” and the first page of search results reveals story after story about its 365 beaches. The island claims to have a year’s worth of sandy strips—all open to the public and ripe for exploration. I arrived in Antigua at around 5:30 PM, and after navigating through immigration, customs, and a taxi ride across the beautiful island, I finally arrived at what I would be calling home for the next week –St James Club.
