Norwegian Pearl Dining and Cuisine

The Norwegian Pearl is committed to NCL’s “Freestyle Cruising” approach, presenting 12 diverse dining options throughout the ship. Passengers can choose where and when to dine, with the flexibility to experience a different restaurant each night. Flat screen TVs distributed around the ship display the availability of each restaurant, which is a handy feature for planning dining experiences. Most restaurants in the Norwegian Pearl offer open seating accommodating two to ten persons, with dinner hours from 5:30 to 10:00 pm. It’s noteworthy that some dining establishments may impose a cover charge.

The dress code for freestyle cruising is resort casual. However, guests are encouraged to dress up if they choose.

Norwegian Pearl Cabins

With over 30 different price grades for cabins and suites, the Norwegian Pearl ensures that there is a suitable option for everyone. Ranging from compact inside cabins with no view (143 square feet) to expansive Garden Villas measuring 4,390 square feet, which include three bedrooms, a living room, and a dining room with access to a private courtyard.

The availability of 250 connecting cabins is ideal for family groups. Many cabins are equipped with pull-down berths or trundle beds, allowing three or four guests to share accommodations. All cabins come with flat screen TVs, tea and coffee makers, high-speed internet connection, and a private bath with a shower. Some suites offer a window over the tub for enjoying seascapes while bathing. The cabin interiors are contemporary and feature bright festive colors.

Norwegian Pearl Activities – Things to Do on the Norwegian Pearl Cruise Ship

The Norwegian Pearl cruise ship presents an extensive range of activities for passengers of all ages. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy the first bowling alley at sea, a rock climbing wall, a comprehensive gym, swimming pool, and courts for tennis and basketball. For a quieter experience, the ship provides an Internet lounge, card room, and library. Young guests can partake in programs at the kid’s club, teen center, and video arcade, while adults can relax at the South Pacific Spa, which features 20 treatment rooms including three for couples, along with a thalassotherapy pool.

Norwegian Pearl Christening

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) celebrated the naming of the Norwegian Pearl in Miami on December 16, with television personality Rosie O’Donnell honored as the ship’s godmother. The ceremony drew over 2400 attendees, including NCL and Star Cruises executives, travel agents, and VIPs, marking the kick-off of NCL’s year-long 40th anniversary celebration in the cruising industry.

Accommodating 2394 passengers, the Norwegian Pearl closely resembles the Norwegian Jewel but distinguishes itself with notable features such as a four-lane, 10-pin bowling alley—the first of its kind on a cruise ship. Noteworthy enhancements also include new luxury suites, a revamped Garden Cafe, upgraded sun loungers, and more connecting staterooms.

Norwegian Pearl Bars and Lounges

No one will find themselves thirsty on board the Norwegian Pearl! Whether seeking a quiet nook for intimate conversations or a lively bar with music and dancing, the ship offers an impressive array of options. As is standard on many new cruise vessels, the Norwegian Pearl features several unique theme bars and lounges.
