Summary of the National Softball Hall of Fame and Museum
Officially dedicated in 1973 by the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America/USA Softball, Oklahoma City’s National Softball Hall of Fame and Museum serves as an educational tribute to the long history of the sport and its players, making it a significant attraction among the top museums in OKC. The facility spans over 18,000 square feet and also houses the headquarters of the ASA. It explores the many facets of the game and showcases memorabilia, photos, videos, and more, honoring the legends of softball and Olympic teams. Additionally, the complex features ASA Hall of Fame Stadium, recognized as the nation’s premier softball venue, hosting numerous major events in the sport.

The ASA National Softball Hall of Fame and Museum is conveniently located in Oklahoma City’s Adventure District, an area on the northeast side of the city that also includes the nearby OKC Zoo and several other attractions. You can find it on N.E. 50th, just west of I-35 and east of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
Admission & Hours of Operation
The National Softball Hall of Fame and Museum operates from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Please note that the facility closes on weekends from October through April. Admission to the museum is free, although donations are encouraged to help support its continued operation.

As per the Amateur Softball Association of America, the National Softball Hall of Fame currently features fewer than 400 inductees, making it “among the most difficult sports halls in the nation in which to gain membership.” The museum’s galleries delve into the achievements of these great athletes.
