Ticket Options
Magic Mountain offers 1-day and annual passes, but multi-day discounts are not available. Tickets and season passes without specific dates printed on them are valid during the current operating season, which generally expires on December 31 of the year they are purchased.
Check the current ticket prices on the Six Flags Magic Mountain website.
- General Admission: Purchase at the gate; however, it’s much less expensive online.
- Choose Your Day: Pick the exact day you would like to go, at least one day in advance, to save money.
- Children under 48 inches tall (any age): Required to have their own ticket.
- Ages 2 and under: Free admission.
- Season Pass One Park: Buying early allows you to save; a season pass costs the same as a one-day pass.
- Flash Pass: Skip the lines by reserving your spot with a FLASH Pass.
- Private VIP Tours: Enjoy a guided tour with front-of-line privileges, parking benefits, and unlimited food & beverages.
- Parking: Additional charges apply for parking; including preferred and valet. Remember to purchase online when buying your tickets.
Note that Hurricane Harbor water park requires a separate ticket. You can buy it online.
Getting Magic Mountain Tickets Online
Buying your tickets ahead of time online is recommended. Discounts are available if you purchase your tickets online one to five days before your visit. However, if your plans hinge on one specific day, it’s advisable to check the long-range weather forecast since adverse conditions can affect ride availability, and refunds are not offered.
Magic Mountain tickets purchased online are set up for at-home printing. If you’re using a mobile device without printing capability, refrain from buying your parking online, because you won’t have a pass to display upon arrival. The ticket purchaser can retrieve tickets at Guest Relations by providing a photo ID, the credit card used, and the email receipt or order confirmation number.
Buying Tickets Using a Desktop Computer
The system allows you to print tickets at home, assigning a name to each ticket in the process. For security reasons, each guest must present a matching photo ID. Young children without identification are exempt from this requirement.
If printing at home is unfeasible, you can visit Guest Relations at the park for assistance in printing your tickets. Bring the credit card used for the purchase, a photo ID, and your email receipt or order confirmation number.
Avoid paying for parking ahead of time if you cannot print your tickets, as you won’t have proof of purchase for the parking attendant.
Buying Tickets Using the Six Flags App
If you lack access to a desktop computer and printer, consider downloading the Six Flags Mobile App. This app simplifies the process of purchasing tickets and parking passes while offering additional features such as ride wait times and dining menus to enhance your park experience.
More Easy Ways to Get Magic Mountain Discounts
Discounts are available either at the gate or online through a promotion with Coca-Cola. More information can be found on the Magic Mountain website. If you plan to visit other Southern California attractions, the Go Los Angeles Card might offer substantial savings.
Seasonal discounts may also be available through independent services like Goldstar. This can be a beneficial resource for obtaining savings on various activities.

AAA members can present their card at the ticket booth for general admission discounts (valid for up to six discounted tickets) and may also receive discounts on select in-park merchandise.
Active military members or veterans can access discounts for up to four general admission tickets using a valid U.S. military ID.
