MADS LANGE
Mads Lange is the split-level dining room within Capella Ubud camp, named in tribute to Mads Johansen Lange, a renowned Danish spice trader and peacemaker in Bali. The dining experience highlights seasonal and sustainable dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients, inspired by the historical spice routes.
API JIWA
Taking its name from the Sanskrit term meaning ‘fire to the soul,’ the chefs at Api Jiwa create exhilarating Asian barbecue dishes served in an intimate and vibrant atmosphere. Guests can choose to dine at the Robatayaki grill or at the private dining table, indulging in contemporary bites inspired by nose-to-tail cuisine.

The Mortar & Pestle Bar, located by the pool, serves light and refreshing snacks accompanied by an extensive selection of cocktails, all curated to reflect the harmony of nature’s offerings, hand-crafted using traditional techniques.
THE CAMPFIRE
The Camp Fire invites you to enjoy an evening under the stars, relaxing around the fire while listening to captivating stories from local storytellers, complemented by camp favorites such as hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows. On select nights, the Camp Fire features silent black-and-white films depicting Bali during the 1800s, while on other nights guests are serenaded by the sounds of the jungle orchestra.

Capella Ubud, Bali is situated within a dense rainforest on a sloping terrain leading to the sacred Wos River in Keliki Village. While there is accommodation on flat terrain, certain tents are elevated and located on steep inclines. The safety and security of our guests are paramount; therefore, it is kindly advised that the camp may not be suitable for families with children under six years old or guests with mobility difficulties due to the nature of the terrain.
Bali’s international gateway is Ngurah Rai International Airport, located approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Capella Ubud, Bali by car. The center of Ubud is a mere 20-minute drive from the camp.
