This post evolved organically, beginning as a casual exploration rather than a meticulously planned outing.

Exploring London

On a delightful day in London, where the weather adds an extra vibrancy, I opted to enjoy an impromptu lunch with friends, which turned into a charming stroll around central London.

With only my iPhone, keys, and wallet on hand, I relied on my phone for photography; a reminder to myself to carry my camera more frequently.

Tramshed Restaurant

Following our leisurely afternoon, we dressed up and ventured to Tramshed for dinner, having secured reservations in advance.

This restaurant is situated within a repurposed tram depot dating back to 1905, now transformed into a stunning culinary space characterized by an impressive Damien Hirst sculpture, ‘Cock and Bull’, standing elegantly at its center.

Upon entering, the vastness of the area is strikingly refreshing compared to the often cramped settings found in many London establishments.

Food Experience

Our meal commenced with Yorkshire pudding accompanied by whipped chicken liver, followed by the exceptional butter chicken served with a spicy, herbaceous mayo.

We enjoyed cocktails throughout the meal as well, and then shared various steak preparations for our main course; each bite melted flawlessly.

Complementing our steaks, we had onion rings, minted broad beans, and fries.
