As previously mentioned in our earlier article, we find ourselves in Fuerteventura, one of the Canary Islands, which has proven to be significantly more stunning than we anticipated.
I communicated with friends back in the UK, attempting to articulate the beauty of Fuerteventura. This island in the Canary archipelago showcases a diverse array of landscapes, resembling a fusion of Moroccan deserts, featuring sand dunes; Iceland, with its striking volcanic formations; and the Caribbean, characterized by its crystalline blue waters.
Truly, each location we have visited offers a markedly different ambiance, making it challenging to encapsulate Fuerteventura with a single description.
We also embarked on an excursion to the nearby Lobos Island, which is commonly uninhabited, and engaged in snorkeling activities (the island is also renowned for diving experiences).
