I am still reflecting on how impressed I was with my lunch at Leon.
I initially discovered Leon at King’s Cross station during one of my whirlwind trips between London and Cambridge. I had always thought to myself, “That appears intriguing and worth exploring”… I cannot believe I did not visit it sooner!
My meal began with a grilled meatballs snack pot, followed by the chicken burger, and for dessert, a Pecan Pie, which I accompanied with a Lemon, Lime and Ginger Quencher!
The meatballs were phenomenal – the only downside was that I desired more! I decided to exercise restraint, however, to save room for my chicken burger – and I am sincerely glad I did!
The chicken burger was exceptional! After experiencing both delightful and mediocre burgers, I can confidently assert that from the very first bite, my admiration for the chicken burger deepened. Juicy chicken breast, fresh ingredients, and a lightly toasted, soft bun – truly outstanding!
The Pecan pie was also quite delightful, though I found myself yearning for a milkshake to accompany it – that’s merely my passion for food speaking. Moreover, the Lemon, Lime, and Ginger quencher (which I will endeavor to recreate at home) was remarkably refreshing!
