Reflections on the First Visit
Upon concluding our first trip, it could be concluded that we experienced a degree of temple fatigue, alongside physical exhaustion, ultimately feeling as though we had only scratched the surface of what Sri Lanka offers—an understandable sentiment given our limited stay of just one week.

Nevertheless, having heard about Sri Lanka’s stunning beaches and its reputation as a premier destination for a restful retreat, we were enthusiastic to revisit the country and discover this alternate aspect of its allure. Below, we detail our experiences during our return trip to Sri Lanka.
