Summary
Day 1:
We arrived at Phu Quoc airport in the evening, and our anticipation for the trip was palpable, as it marked our first experience traveling as members of ALL (Accor Live Limitless) while engaging with their MyResorts program, which offered us additional rewards and benefits.
Upon arrival, we were met by our MyHost Marina, a dedicated concierge for Gold members and above, alongside our private driver. During our transfer, Marina provided insights about the island and the resort, and introduced herself as our primary contact for any assistance we might require throughout our stay.
After a brief drive, we were warmly welcomed at the Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort with refreshing welcome beverages as we awaited our room check-in. A buggy transported us to our villa, where Marina conducted a guided tour. We had entered our dream accommodation, featuring a spacious open plan living area, three bedrooms, and our private infinity pool.
With an exciting day ahead, we relaxed on the couch for the evening, enjoying some delightful welcome treats.
Day 2:
We awoke to the sunrise filtering through our blinds, presenting an extraordinary ocean view from the balcony. We had begun our morning in paradise!
Our agenda included a private yoga session by the pool at 6:30 AM as part of our MyWellness benefits. A private buggy collected us a few minutes before our session began, and upon reaching the yoga area, we were truly mesmerized. The yoga took place on platforms within the pool, set among palm trees and accompanied by the soothing sounds of water fountains. Our instructor welcomed us, and our session commenced.
Following this rejuvenating start, we made our way to breakfast at The Market restaurant, where we enjoyed outdoor seating with views of the gardens and ocean. The buffet breakfast was exceptional, and we indulged in omelets and fresh fruit to energize us for the day ahead.
The remainder of the day was spent by the water engaging in kayaking and paddleboarding along the resort’s western beach, before transitioning to the pool for a swim and some sunbathing.
After a refreshing time in the water, we proceeded to the Pool Bar for lunch. With our MyGlass benefit, we enjoyed unlimited soft and alcoholic beverages from 12 PM to 5 PM. We relaxed within the infinity pool, cocktail in hand, as we gazed out at the ocean.
After enjoying a few cocktails, we returned to our villa to prepare for our MyTreat private dinner at Corallo.
Arriving just before sunset, we were delighted to find a private candlelit table and picnic rug arranged on the beach among palm trees. The attentive staff welcomed us, and the bar team crafted personalized cocktails tailored to our preferences.
As we savored our delicious vodka and whiskey cocktails, we watched the sun gradually dip below the ocean before being escorted to our table for a sumptuous seven-course dinner accompanied by wine pairings. We were so satisfied after our meal that we opted to take the desserts back to our luxurious villa for later enjoyment.
Day 3:
After indulging in our dining experiences and feeling completely pampered, we took a leisurely start to our third day. We began with a morning swim in our private infinity pool, followed by a bike ride through the resort. Once again, we savored breakfast at The Market.
After exploring the resort, we returned to the villa before being picked up for our appointment at Plumeria Spa, where we enjoyed a scheduled MyWellness treatment.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the spa staff and offered light snacks and refreshing drinks. Following a discussion regarding our treatment preferences, we chose a full body scrub coupled with a signature therapy massage.
We were escorted to a private spa room offering stunning ocean views and an exclusive spa pool. Commencing with the body scrub followed by the signature massage left us feeling profoundly relaxed. After our treatment, the masseurs left us in solitude to relish the private spa experience while enjoying a delightful tea-tox drink.
Feeling utterly revitalized, we proceeded to lunch at Corallo, where we partook in a variety of tapas-style dishes from different cuisines.
We then continued to explore the remarkable infinity pool that stretches from one side of the resort’s island to the other. Nestled beneath palm trees in our secluded spot, it was the ideal way to pass the afternoon.
As the day progressed at a relaxed pace, we made our way to dinner early, returning to The Market to sample more local culinary offerings. We appreciated the freshness and vibrant colors of the dishes, deciding to share several options between us. Our evening waitress detailed the origins and regional variations of the dishes we ordered.
Day 4:
On our final morning on the island, we arose early to witness the sunrise before preparing our belongings for check-out. We aimed to maximize our final hours by revisiting the western beach for a swim and some sunbathing.
After days of blissful experiences, we relished the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the island’s ambiance one last time.
Once our luggage was gathered, our private buggy transported us back to reception where we bid farewell to our MyHost Marina and the exceptional staff who made our stay remarkable.
Our initial visit to Vietnam was thoroughly enjoyable, and the MyResorts benefits at Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort truly made this a memorable trip.
