DAY ONE
Upon our arrival at Incheon airport, we proceeded to the Mondrian Seoul Itaewon, where we would be residing for the subsequent three nights. Our check-in process was seamless and facilitated by the exceptionally warm and courteous hotel staff. Our accommodation exuded a charming and inviting atmosphere, equipped with all the contemporary amenities essential for a pleasant stay.
After settling into our accommodations, we chose to visit the Rumpus Room, the hotel’s lounge bar. During daylight hours, this location is flooded with natural light, creating an ideal setting for capturing photographs for Instagram. We took full advantage of this opportunity to snap several shots.
For lunch, we proceeded to Cleo, the hotel’s signature Mediterranean establishment. We eagerly anticipated trying the recommended dishes from our server. We commenced our meal with the fried eggplant, which was delightfully crispy on the exterior and tender on the inside. The clam chowder offered a creamy and flavorful experience, while the beef kebab was both succulent and juicy. The truffle fries emerged as a highlight, delivering an impeccable balance of saltiness and truffle essence. Each mouthful was enjoyable, warranting our high recommendation of Cleo to all guests visiting the hotel.
Following lunch, we ventured into the neighborhood to seek out coffee. We relished our beverages while strolling through the area, immersing ourselves in the vibrant sights and sounds of Seoul. For dinner, we descended to the hotel’s basement, which housed a variety of shops and dining options. We chose to sample the lobster rolls, which were immensely flavorful. The culinary offerings exceeded our expectations, concluding our day on a gratifying note.
DAY TWO
We commenced our second day with a photo session at Blind Spot, a meticulously designed bar situated in the hotel lobby. The elegant lighting and decor were striking, prompting us to capture the atmosphere on camera. Following our spontaneous photoshoot, we proceeded to the nearby establishment, Chadelpoong, renowned for its KBBQ. The expertly seasoned meat was cooked to perfection, enhancing our dining experience. Subsequently, we indulged in delectable desserts at Margaret Cafe, which boasted a warm ambiance and an impressive array of sweets. Seoul is indeed adorned with charming cafes and dessert havens!
In the evening, we explored the Privilege Bar within the hotel, celebrated for its comprehensive cocktail offerings. The beverages did not disappoint, being skillfully prepared with an excellent balance of sweetness and alcohol content. The mini burgers served as delightful, bite-sized accompaniments to the drinks. We thoroughly appreciated the bar’s ambiance, concluding our visit just before closing time.
DAY THREE
On our final day, we revisited Cleo and re-ordered our favorite dishes from the previous day. The culinary offerings were equally delightful, leaving us thoroughly satisfied.
We later visited Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery Ambassador for an exquisite afternoon tea experience. The panoramic views from the pool deck were breathtaking. The assortment of teas was impressive, and the desserts were beautifully crafted. This experience was undoubtedly commendable for anyone visiting Seoul.
Post afternoon tea, we explored the Dior Pop-Up, a temporary store exhibiting the latest collection from the brand. We admired the elegant decor while browsing through the clothing and accessories. For our final dining experience in Seoul, we selected a Japanese restaurant located near the Dior Pop-Up. We concluded our evening by admiring the city’s beautiful Christmas installations. Overall, our three-day journey was remarkable, and we eagerly anticipate a return to the Mondrian Seoul Itaewon!
