2. The Adventure Begins
We’re currently in the Faroe Islands and to say this trip has been a long time coming is something of an understatement! We’d been planning and looking forward to this trip for a while. Needless to say, our expectations were quite high as soon as we arrived.
We’ve been constantly Snapchatting (@ GoTravelDaily) in an attempt to capture (and show you) what it’s like to be here for the first time, but I couldn’t hold off writing this post any longer and had to share some of the photos we’ve taken so far!
The Faroe Islands, by the way, have surpassed all our expectations! The dramatic scenery, other-worldly vibes (it feels like you’ve stepped into a Jurassic Park movie sometimes), and the stunning beauty of this destination are simply incredible! This is easily one of the most beautiful places on our planet, and I can’t stop raving about it. I feel like I could go on and on about how amazing it is here, but I’ve gotta head out now to explore more of these remarkable islands.
I will attempt to get the proper blog posts up very soon, but until then, I figured I should show you firsthand (via pictures as always), what it looks and feels like to be in the Faroe Islands.
By the way, we’ve arrived a bit too early for puffin season and a bit too late for the Northern Lights… It seems I’ve already started finding multiple reasons to return to the islands… 😉
