Our last evening on our journey to the Dordogne Valley in France concluded at a charming chateau, accompanied by its adjacent vineyard – Chateau de Panisseau.
As we relished a leisurely stroll through the countryside, ominous clouds loomed in the distance, contrasting with the clear skies we enjoyed throughout our visit.
Consequently, we convened to sample the château’s wine before departing for dinner at the Michelin-starred establishment La Tour des Vents located in Monbazillac.
As is customary during our visits to the Dordogne Valley, our meal commenced with foie gras, accompanied by duck and asparagus, topped with salmon and caviar.
