Upon arriving in Singapore, one of my initial actions was to investigate my neighborhood. This followed the completion of my university assignments from Cambridge, which happened to have the inconvenient deadline set just a few days after my arrival. Juggling jet lag, assignment obligations, and general exhaustion, I felt as though I had spent my initial days sequestered in my apartment. Consequently, once my tasks were complete, I was eager to venture out and discover my surroundings.
A colleague suggested searching for a residence in Orchard, arguably the most expensive area to reside in Singapore yet also one of the most desirable locations, teeming with diverse activities and attractions. As such, I believe it was a commendable choice. Recently, I stumbled upon some photographs I captured during my initial exploration of Orchard, particularly the brilliantly illuminated and remarkably upscale Orchard Road, which is home to countless luxury retailers, including Chanel, Prada, Gucci, among others.
