The highly anticipated 3,900-passenger Carnival Vista, the first in Carnival Cruise Lines’ Vista class, sails year-round from Miami, offering six-, seven, and eight-day Caribbean cruises. This ship is loaded with fun and innovative experiences, including an aerial pedal-powered ride and cruising’s first IMAX Theater at sea.

Flying Bikes and High Ropes

Climb aboard SkyRide, the cruise industry’s first pedal-powered open-air aerial attraction. Adventurous riders can climb aboard hanging recumbent-like bikes to cycle their way around the 800-foot suspended track with panoramic views from 150 feet above the sea. Moreover, nearby is SkyCourse, a high-ropes course.

Both activities are part of the expanded outdoor activity park, which also includes a new indoor sports hangout, The Clubhouse at SportSquare, featuring mini-bowling, ping-pong, arcade basketball, sports video gaming, and more.

Largest Water Park in Carnival’s Fleet

In the largest WaterWorks water park in the fleet, kids and kids at heart can find a wide array of fun, including Kaleid-O-Slide, the line’s first-ever water tube attraction. Riders hop on inflatable one or two-person rafts taking them on a 455-foot ride filled with twists and turns, enhanced by kaleidoscopic visual effects.

Kids Programming with Dr. Seuss and Hasbro

Carnival Vista also ramped up the fun for kids on board. The indoor/outdoor Camp Ocean for children under age 12 is a dedicated undersea-themed play space with over 200 fun and educational ocean-inspired activities.

This ship is the second to feature Dr. Seuss Bookville, a special reading and play space inspired by Dr. Seuss. Families can read beloved Dr. Seuss books, engage in arts and crafts, and stretch their imagination with various toys and games. Additionally, part of the line’s Seuss at Sea program, Carnival Vista guests can enjoy character breakfasts with The Cat in the Hat and Friends, the Seuss-a-palooza Story Time, and parade events.

Furthermore, Carnival Vista introduced four new games at the family-centric HASBRO the Game Show, in addition to special family-friendly comedy performances at Punchliner Comedy Club presented by George Lopez.

First IMAX Theater at Sea

Carnival introduced the first-ever IMAX Theater on a cruise ship. Families can take in the latest Hollywood blockbusters, IMAX classics, and documentary content on a screen that’s three decks high. Moreover, next door at the Thrill Theater, moviegoers can enjoy a multi-dimensional special effects experience.

Both attractions are part of the Carnival Multiplex, which includes a concession stand offering popcorn and various movie snacks. Adjacent to this is The Warehouse, featuring an array of video and arcade games.

More Family-Friendly Staterooms

Carnival Vista offers a great variety of staterooms and suites, including two new accommodation classes. Tropics-inspired Havana Cabanas feature private outdoor patios—complete with lounge chairs and hammocks—that face the expanded Lanai ocean-air outdoor promenade, providing magnificent sea views and easy access to the Havana Bar and Pool.

Located within a dedicated family zone on Deck 2, the new Family Harbor accommodations include deluxe ocean-view, balcony, and interior staterooms that can accommodate up to five family members. Parents and kids have more room to relax at the new, exclusive Family Harbor Lounge, which is designed as the ultimate family hangout with large-screen TVs, games, and complimentary breakfast and snacks. Sushi to TexMex and Ice Cream, Too

Thanks to an expanded Lanai on Deck 5, many dining and bar venues feature outdoor seating. Families can dine al fresco at specialty eateries including the Fahrenheit 555 steakhouse, Japanese-style Bonsai Sushi restaurant, and Seafood Shack, a New England-inspired eatery.

Kids will definitely want to check out Cherry on Top, a mixed-to-order custom ice cream creation bar and candy shop with over 80 bulk candy options.

Moreover, poolside eateries including Guy’s Burger Joint offer award-winning burgers and hand-cut fries created by chef Guy Fieri, and BlueIguana Cantina features freshly made tacos and burritos.

The ship’s main dining rooms, Reflections and Horizons, provide full-service breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The striking modern interiors were crafted by award-winning designer BigTime Design Studios, showcasing a decidedly different décor than previous Carnival ships.
