There are so many interesting personalities, and the diversity in the way people present themselves is remarkable.
Having visited more than 20 countries, I can confidently say that Morocco is home to some of the most fascinating and unique individuals you will ever meet.

Moreover, the Medina of Fes will expose you to some of the most interesting locals you will encounter in Morocco.
Architectural Perfection
As you visit Morocco and journey through the country, you will be struck by the incredible beauty of its architecture.
No matter where you go, fascinating buildings and diverse styles fill the landscape. Making your way through the medinas may leave you feeling lost, as everything seems to look the same.
However, this is part of Morocco’s charm. Some of the most interesting buildings are located within the medinos, remarkable places that have remained preserved for many years.
The medina of Chefchaouen will always amaze me. Each corner you turn reveals beautiful blue streets and countless photography opportunities.
Moreover, the scenery in the city of Essaouira is breathtaking. The city is known for Game of Thrones.
“The port city of Essaouira was used in season 3, doubling as Astapor. Remember the scene beside the sea when she rounded up the unsullied and gave them the choice to fight for her?”
This incredibly relaxed city has a vibe that feels less hectic than in cities such as Marrakech or even Fes.
Venturing up towards the Spanish mosque offers a remarkable overview of the blue pearl, where stunning sunset views await.
Incredible patterns adorn the Royal Palace. I have heard that it is usually packed with people; however, when I visited during midday in July, I found it surprisingly empty. A must-visit spot in Fes.
Locals navigate “hidden” streets of the Medina to avoid the crowds. Fez is filled with such small streets, and no matter how long you stay, it’s unlikely you’ll experience all of them.
Having a riad with a rooftop terrace is essential when visiting Chefchaouen. Watching the sunset from a rooftop is one of the most breathtaking experiences in this blue city.
