Consequently, while some sports cars fall short on comfort, and other luxury vehicles lack excitement, Bentley successfully manages to deliver both sensations.

Adventurous Drive Through Upstate New York

We set off from Manhattan for an adrenaline-fueled ride upstate. Despite the rainy weather—Bentley seemed to have brought the British climate with it—the driving experience was nothing short of a dream, thanks to the robust engines and smooth handling. Our route took us to Cedar Lakes Estate, a private oasis nestled in the Hudson Valley, characterized by winding roads through rural New York. This elegant resort features charming cottages and ample space for group activities, fostering camaraderie amongst guests who share their driving experiences and venture to try each other’s vehicles.

That evening, Bentley hosted a dinner partnered with The Macallan, another esteemed U.K. luxury brand. Ambassadors from The Macallan facilitated tastings of rare whisky expressions like the new Macallan Harmony Collection Rich Cacao, accompanied by interactive aroma experiences and exquisite cocktails. Finally, everyone savored a delicious farm-to-table dinner meticulously paired with their whisky selections.

A Scenic Journey through Scotland

The British road trips expand on this dining experience, beginning in Crewe, England, home to the Bentley factory. Here, guests can tour the factory and witness the craftsmanship that defines a Bentley. That evening, a unique dining experience awaits within the heart of the factory.

The adventure continues the following morning, as guests drive one of Bentley’s latest models through the breathtaking British countryside, making stops at historic sites and enjoying lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant, Northcote. The day concludes at the charming Middleton Lodge, a Georgian estate set on a sprawling 200 acres.

The next day begins with a private yoga session to stretch before hitting the road again, partaking in one of the most beautiful drives of the journey. You will venture into Scotland, passing stunning landscapes, lush hills, and historic architecture. That evening, you arrive at The Treehouses at Lanrick, where you’ll experience a luxurious tree house among the treetops, offering all the amenities expected in a Bentley excursion. The location’s proximity to Trossachs National Park offers perfect stargazing opportunities, guided by Scotland’s Royal Astronomer, Catherine Heyman.

On the fourth day, guests visit The Macallan Estate in Speyside, Scotland. The itinerary includes a delightful meal, exclusive tastings, and a private tour of the award-winning distillery. As the day wraps up, guests will enjoy a special dining experience at the on-site Elchies Brasserie, featuring dishes made from local seafood, venison, and beef, perfectly paired with unique expressions from The Macallan. Finally, the journey ends, allowing for a return flight from Aberdeen or an exquisite journey back to London aboard the beautiful Caledonia Sleeper train from Inverness.
