Welcome to Bar Luce, a Milan bar designed by director Wes Anderson.

“While I do think it would make a pretty good movie set, I think it would be an even better place to write a movie,” Anderson said of the design. “I tried to make it a bar I would want to spend my own non-fictional afternoons in.”

Fondazione Prada, which opened on May 9, was designed by Rem Koolhaas’s architecture firm OMA.
The firm expanded a 1910’s-era distillery into a cultural campus that can hold galleries, a kid’s center, and Anderson’s Bar Luce.
“By introducing so many spatial variables, the complexity of the architecture will promote an unstable, open programming, where art and architecture will benefit from each other’s challenges,” Koolhaas said in a statement.
