What To Expect

The Banyu Wana waterfalls are nestled in the jungle, requiring some short hiking to reach them. The path is easy to navigate, although the return trip can be a bit exhausting. Following a short walk from the entrance, you’ll encounter a fork in the road, marked by a sign displaying pictures of the waterfalls.

Turn left at the sign and hike for 5-10 minutes to discover the first two waterfalls. Return to the sign and trek another 10 minutes to find the last two. All four falls are undoubtedly worthy of a visit!

Along your journey, you will encounter numerous exotic plants and trees, including bamboo forests and jackfruit trees. This vibrant environment enhances the experience significantly.

Allocate a couple of hours here if you want to capture all the waterfalls in photos and perhaps go for a refreshing swim!

Banyu Wana Amertha Waterfalls

1. BWA / Bhuana Sari Waterfall

This is the most visited waterfall at Banyu Wana, easily accessible with a 5-minute walk. While it may not be the largest or most impressive waterfall in Bali, its beauty is remarkable, featuring dozens of tiny cascades that almost appear artificial!

2. Single Waterfall

This large waterfall stands directly opposite Bhuana Sari and offers a cave behind the falls for an adventurous experience! However, during the dry season (approximately May to December), this waterfall may disappear.

3. Twin Waterfalls

This set of twin waterfalls is separate from the first two at Banyu Wana, but easily accessible with just a 5-minute hike.

4. Banyu Wana Amertha / Spray Waterfall

Finally, the largest waterfall at Banyu Wana, known as the Spray Waterfall, is just a 10-minute walk from the others. This massive cascade paired with a lush backdrop and a wide, shallow pool at the bottom makes it one of the best waterfalls in Bali for swimming.

Entrance Fee

Visitors are required to pay an entry fee of 30k IDR (~$2 USD), granting access to all four waterfalls.

How To Get There

Banyu Wana Amertha waterfall is located in the Wanagiri area of north Bali, Indonesia. The travel time is approximately 60-90 minutes from Ubud or 30-60 minutes from Singaraja.
