COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT, SEMINYAK

The Courtyard by Marriott is ideally situated just off the main thoroughfare amidst the vibrant atmosphere of Seminyak, which I found to be particularly advantageous. The staff exhibited remarkable friendliness and consistently wore smiles. They adeptly addressed my requirements, frequently exceeding my expectations. Additionally, the facilities at Courtyard by Marriott Seminyak were impressive; the pool bar offered exquisite cocktails, the gym was fully outfitted with modern equipment, and our room was contemporary and impeccably maintained.
The extensive buffet breakfast was nothing short of remarkable, offering an incredible array of options for the morning meal. We also sampled the lunch menu, and everything we ordered rated a perfect 10/10. Although the food was somewhat westernized, it suited my palate well. The atmosphere at the resort was relaxed, and in the afternoons, guests could partake in various activities, including an enjoyable game of bingo. While participation was optional, the staff facilitated engagement among guests, enabling delightful interactions and new friendships. Additionally, the presence of the Taco Truck outside the resort significantly enhanced the experience.
NYUH BALI VILLAS, SEMINYAK

Nyuh Bali Villas provides an excellent location, nestled just behind the Bali Deli in Seminyak. Upon my arrival, the staff welcomed me warmly, ensuring I was comfortably escorted to my room and that everything was satisfactory.
Boasting a blend of traditional and modern Balinese design, the villa presents a serene retreat for individuals seeking tranquility. The outdoor spaces are partially shaded, creating an ideal environment for children. Additional amenities include an expansive spa bath and an exquisite outdoor shower.
TAC TIP: Consider indulging in a spa treatment during your stay; a traditional Balinese massage enhances relaxation significantly!
THE JUNGALOW, CANGGU
- Rates commence at approximately 140 US$ for a 2-bedroom villa.
Incredible! Among my top recommendations for friends contemplating a visit to Canggu is The Jungalow. The three-story villa exudes a trendy and luxurious ambiance. It effectively combines modern sophistication with playful elements.
The first floor features a stylish kitchen and lounge area, complete with a bedroom and a bathroom. This spacious layout and its impressive bathroom certainly stand out! The large doors open to the pool, complemented by an outdoor shower and two sunbeds! The lower level enjoys sunlight for three-quarters of the day, while the remaining quarter can be enjoyed from the second floor.
The second level offers another spacious bedroom with an elegant bathroom, along with an outdoor area featuring a generous sun bed and two additional sunbeds! Furthermore, it has a large outdoor seating arrangement for dining and relaxing. Don’t forget to explore the rooftop! My friend and I spent a delightful evening there with wine and a cheese platter while watching the sunset; it was simply divine! The location of The Jungalow is optimal, a mere minutes from stylish cafes and a 15-minute drive to Finns Beach Club. I appreciated everything that The Jungalow provided and will undoubtedly return!

@sisterfields, Seminyak – their smashed avocado is exceptional!
@revolverespresso, Seminyak – their coffee is unparalleled!
We also enjoyed @seacircus, Seminyak and @motelmexicola, Seminyak for our taco cravings, as well as @lalagunabali, Berawa for drinks at sunset.
@gingermoon_bali, Seminyak is also highly recommended for dinner – featuring the best duck pancakes you will ever taste.

Spa Bali, conveniently located just across the road from Courtyard Bali Seminyak Resort.
I SHOPPED:
The entire street of Seminyak offers numerous shopping opportunities; it is best to start at one end and work your way to the other! I likely spent the most at Gooseberry Intimates.
BEST PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES:
The Jungalow Bali made capturing photos effortless due to its trendy setup. However, many cafés in Canggu and Seminyak are equally well-decorated, simplifying the task of taking stunning photos! When visiting Revolver Espresso on Jalan Oberoi, request a seat in the back within the pink room – it is heavenly!
MY THREE TRAVEL ESSENTIALS:
- Bali Body – I prefer to use this product after sunbathing, as it prevents peeling better than traditional moisturizers.
- Large beach bag! You will be amazed at how much you need to carry with you for a day at places like Potato Head Beach Club.
- Hair treatment! The heat, chlorine, and salt can severely dry out hair, so I recommend bringing a suitable treatment.
WHY I WILL RETURN:
My experience was delightful in every way! The weather, cuisine, and stylish villas captivated me. Bali is a convenient destination where everyone exudes happiness, and the locals are exceptionally kind and accommodating. The Balinese consistently strive to ensure that your visit is as enjoyable as possible. The quality of food available is outstanding, promoting healthy and fresh options! The shopping environment is impressive as well – I genuinely have no grievances about Bali!
