Providenciales, Turks and Caicos — The recent titleholder for “best island,” Providenciales is one of six prominent islands within the Caicos group of the Turks and Caicos Islands located in the West Indies. The esteemed travel site TripAdvisor selected Travelers’ Choice award winners based on the quality and volume of user reviews collected over the past year.

During our stay in Cape Town, we opted to rent a vehicle from our hotel for approximately £20 per day. This decision initiated our adventure on a positive note, as our hotel provided us with a brand new compact vehicle, which I had always aspired to drive. Being accustomed to driving on the left side of the road, I found it relatively straightforward to navigate the streets, highways, and intersections of South Africa.
