GoTravelDaily Review: Alisea Boutique Hotel in Krabi
If you’re looking for a truly boutique and traditionally Thai place to stay in Krabi, look no further than Alisea Boutique Hotel. With an infinity pool, balcony bathtubs, and an amazing private beach, this hotel offers everything you could desire for a relaxing getaway. I spent two nights there, and here are my thoughts:
Check-In & My Room
The first thing that struck me during check-in was the stylish ambiance of Alisea Boutique Hotel. The spacious lobby featured grand columns and plenty of natural light, even incorporating a Koi pond. As I was escorted to my room, I learned about some of the hotel’s unique amenities: a pool table on the lower level, a mini library, and a home cinema set up for guests each evening at 5 PM. Such features make it feel like a true home away from home, enhancing the comfort level during your stay.
My room was stylish and created a homey atmosphere. It was spacious, featuring a gigantic bed and a large shower, enhancing the overall experience.
This room was particularly unique, boasting an upstairs area with an additional bed and a balcony featuring an enormous bathtub—certainly large enough for two people.
Thanks to previous stays at different hotels, I’ve developed a liking for balcony bathtubs, allowing you to enjoy serene sunset views while soaking in water. Furthermore, Alisea features an infinity pool that offers spectacular views—especially at sunset—along with comfortable sunbeds and cozy bean bag chairs. You may find it challenging to decide whether to spend your time relaxing in the bathtub, at the pool, or on the private beach. I suggest you try all three for a complete experience!
Private Beach at Alisea
While I love Ao Nang, I must admit my initial disappointment upon seeing the beaches—they were not the unspoiled Thai beaches I had imagined. However, Alisea offers access to a private beach, just 15 minutes away by shuttle. This secluded beach is picturesque, quiet, and exactly what I had envisioned.
Guests can enjoy beach bean bags, hammocks, and swings, making it the perfect place for a relaxing afternoon. It quickly became my favorite beach experience in Thailand.
Dining at Alisea: Umberto’s & Breakfast
For an exceptional culinary experience close to the hotel, head to Umberto’s, which offers what I believe to be the best pizza in Southeast Asia. Located on the ground floor of Alisea, its pizzas rival those from Italy—and I’ve had my fair share of authentic Italian pizzas. The quality was outstanding, so much so that I requested them for two consecutive nights. Alisea even delivers food to your room at no extra charge.
Breakfast was equally impressive, with a wide selection including Thai breakfast options, fresh fruits, cereals, and delicious pastries.
Conclusion
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Alisea Boutique Hotel, as it perfectly met my expectations: a stunning room, wonderful staff, and mouthwatering food. The combination of balcony bathtubs, peaceful beaches, and delightful pizza made my visit unforgettable. I highly recommend staying at Alisea when visiting Krabi!
