The time has come for us to reconnect! It feels as though we have not engaged in a while, and I have a multitude of things I wish to discuss. Naturally, I am eager to receive your thoughts as well, yet in a manner reminiscent of Veruca Salt—I will take the lead! 🙂
So, where shall I commence?
Aha, Santorini!
As evident from our @GoTravelDaily Instagram, our recent visit to Santorini provided an abundance of culinary delights, exquisite wines, and breathtaking sights.
Oh, the vistas!
Santorini is an exceptionally beautiful destination, and we managed to explore its wonders both on land and by boat (catamaran).
Upon returning home, I realized I had amassed nearly a million photographs I am eager to share.
Regrettably, I cannot fit a million images into a single blog post (why, indeed!!!), so I will need to select a few to share with you shortly. As a small apology for my delay in updating you, I will include a couple of photographs below.
Exploring Santorini by boat.
Exploring Santorini on land…
What else can I mention? Ah yes, the past few days have been particularly remarkable!
As noted in my recent post, we ventured out to explore Gipuzkoa in Spain’s Basque Country. This marked our first encounter with the region, and while we had limited expectations, the experience far surpassed what we had hoped for.
Reflecting on the photographs now, it remains astonishing that certain places we visited were situated in Spain and readily accessible from the UK.
The Spain I had previously known was characterized by arid landscapes, intense heat; thus, discovering Gipuzkoa was profoundly enlightening.
I cannot emphasize enough the number of awe-inspiring moments I experienced in the Basque Country, but that is a discussion for another time.
In true fashion, I may have taken an excess of 10 million pictures, and I am eager to provide them to you as soon as feasible!
Those images will be available soon; thus, do prepare adequately with biscuits, cakes, and tea as we navigate through them together.
I’ve attempted to share a few images on Instagram, yet here are some that you may not have encountered there.
Before I conclude, I must mention that I have initiated a new YouTube channel for GoTravelDaily.
As of now, I have not yet uploaded a video (the channel is brand new); however, I am in the process of creating my first video and plan to regularly update the channel with travel experiences, tips, and general discussions. As expected, the optimal way to stay informed is to follow the GoTravelDaily YouTube channel.
As is customarily said in the (Spanish) Basque Country — Eskerrik Asko (thank you!) and Agur (goodbye) for now.
This is my modest display of the little Basque I have picked up this weekend. Hehe!
