Initially, I had not considered visiting Thailand until our travel plans to Bali were disrupted due to volcanic activity, prompting a desire for immediate tropical escapism.
Thus, we traveled to Phuket with GoTravelDaily, and it turned out to be an extraordinary experience.
The VIJITT RESORT, PHUKET
During our first two nights at the enchanting Vijitt Resort, it felt reminiscent of the elegant style that epitomized Bali resorts in the past. This tropical haven featured stunning vistas and palm trees in every direction. We derived immense pleasure from exploring the beautifully manicured grounds, lounging by the pool, and indulging in exquisite dining options. The buffet breakfast along with the lunch and dinner selections were so delectable that venturing outside the resort seemed unnecessary.
TWINPALMS, PHUKET
Our subsequent destination was the stunning Twin Palms, which had been highly praised by many, and it certainly met our expectations!
This location epitomized luxury! Furthermore, the culinary offerings were so outstanding that I found myself dining more than sunbathing or exploring.
From an impressive variety of pillows to a delightful buffet fruit bar at 3 PM, complemented by refreshing coconuts by the pool, this resort provided a breathtaking environment for relaxation.
We took leisurely walks to the beach each evening to savor exquisite sunsets, or opted for a shuttle to the vibrant beach club, which was captivating! Even during rain, the comfort of this beautiful hotel was inviting.
THE SLATE, PHUKET
Next, we enjoyed a brief yet delightful stay at The Slate Phuket. The highlight of my experience was the exceptional massage I received, and I have longed for another ever since returning home. Moreover, the buffet breakfasts at Phuket hotels are unparalleled.
RENAISSANCE, PHUKET
Lastly, but certainly not of lesser importance, my preferred accommodation during the entire holiday was the Renaissance Phuket. Despite my admiration for the other hotels, this remarkable establishment exceeded all expectations, and I often reflect on how I wish I could have spent my entire trip at this splendid venue.
To begin with, the staff was exceptionally welcoming, kind, and supportive, ensuring we felt valued. Again, the cuisine—particularly from their acclaimed Thai restaurant—was the finest I have encountered. I genuinely relished every course, from appetizers to desserts, and every moment of the remarkable culinary experience there. We devoted our time to enjoying the peacefully serene beach in front of the hotel, making our stay at the Renaissance our most treasured memories of the trip. Ultimately, we returned home content and a few kilos heavier.
