The Singapore Polo Club is excited to announce the launch of the ATOMS Polo Academy, a groundbreaking initiative designed for individuals eager to explore the exhilarating sport of polo.
Whether you are a novice or a seasoned equestrian, ATOMS provides a suitable environment for participants aged 5 to 50. The academy’s staff consists of certified international instructors who will facilitate your learning journey, beginning with fundamental riding skills tailored for polo, and swiftly progressing to ball striking techniques.
Situated on the grounds of the newly renovated Singapore Polo Club, the ATOMS Polo Academy offers Singapore’s first accredited program of its kind, recognized by the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA). This esteemed association serves as the governing body for polo in the UK, Ireland, and numerous affiliated nations worldwide, and it was instrumental in establishing the fundamental regulations and guidelines for the sport.
At the conclusion of each season, participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their newly acquired skills during the gymkhana event, hosted against fellow ATOMS Polo Academy players. The champion will receive a complimentary week’s vacation at a polo destination of their choosing (excluding airfare).
Moreover, students enrolled at the ATOMS Polo Academy can further their polo experience by playing internationally in countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Jamaica, and various other thrilling locales.
In addition to their lessons, younger participants will enjoy exclusive access to the ATOMS Polo Academy lounge, dubbed the “Kid Zone.” This dedicated space will feature a 55-inch TV, PlayStation 4, iPads, Kindles, board games, a collection of novels for borrowing and exchanging, as well as snacks and beverages available for purchase. This environment allows students to socialize, form friendships, and unwind while awaiting their lessons. Older students will also have the privilege of utilizing the broader facilities of the Singapore Polo Club.
