Summary
Upon returning from the secluded beach, I was genuinely rejuvenated. I recall attempting to post a brief update on Instagram, only to succumb to slumber before finishing my caption. Fortunately, I managed to awaken in time for dinner.
On a different note: I have developed a newfound admiration for these chairs. Although I realize they may be somewhat impractical in my London apartment, that does not diminish my desire for them.
The dinner for the evening was at a restaurant requiring reservations. Hence, I exchanged my swim trunks for appropriate attire and ventured out with great appetite in pursuit of food.
It seems I was too famished to capture any images of the food but I did manage to photograph this cat.
In retrospect, I attribute the aesthetic above to the artistic inspiration I gained, although a substantial amount of wine consumption played a role.
Moreover, I managed to capture images of some culinary delights – my utmost favorite, dessert!
The remainder of the evening was spent in the relaxation area accompanied by numerous caipirinhas, alongside a variety of other cocktails – just for a bit of diversity.
The subsequent day followed a semblance to the previous ones – characterized by a purposeful idleness! I chose to explore the surroundings, but eventually halted my excursion after passing the pool and being offered wine by the waitress. (Please, refrain from judgment – you would have acted similarly!)
Prior to my distraction with wine, I did manage to appreciate portions of the grounds… (Here’s the evidence).
Before I realized, the sun began to descend, and I received a notification from the reception area indicating that our taxi was imminent for the airport.
By the time I bid a poignant farewell to this extraordinary destination, I fully recognized the necessity for more such vacations—days characterized by tranquility, counterbalancing the holidays filled with sightseeing. I not only had the opportunity to immerse myself in a new country but also to experience a markedly different travel style than what I was accustomed to. 🙂
Furthermore, let us not overlook my newfound infatuation with those chairs…
