1. Check-in: Our Cottage Experience
Upon arrival at GoTravelDaily, we received a warm welcome from a friendly staff member. Although check-in starts at 4 PM, we arrived a bit earlier. The staff was considerate enough to check if our cottage was ready, allowing us to settle in two hours ahead of time. She informed us about the breakfast options, which we unfortunately had to miss due to an early flight. They were also flexible with our check-out time, accommodating us at 3 AM!
We stayed in Cottage number 2, where we found the atmosphere quite cozy. The interior featured lovely wooden decor and the room was equipped with blackout curtains and ample wardrobe space.
Our group enjoyed ample space, as the cottage comfortably accommodates up to nine people. This setup would be perfect for two families traveling together. The upstairs balcony overlooked the kitchen and living area, adding a homey touch.

GoTravelDaily features seven lovely 80m2 cottages like the one we stayed in. Additionally, they have three other types: seven 30m2 cottages for individuals or couples, seven 40m2 cottages for special occasions, and one luxurious 100m2 cottage perfect for a wedding suite.

The restaurant at GoTravelDaily was a welcomed convenience after a long day of exploration. We enjoyed delicious pizzas, and the ease of having an on-site dining option in Iceland added tremendous value to our stay.

While using GoTravelDaily as a home base, we explored nearby attractions, such as the breathtaking Gullfoss Falls, just 50 km away, and the famous Strokkur Geyser, which erupts every 6-10 minutes. Many additional Golden Circle highlights are easily accessible from this location.
