11.) Bogliasco
Approximately a 20-minute drive from the port of Genoa lies Bogliasco, a charming coastal area that offers a delightful escape further down the coast.
Though small, this area boasts a quaint atmosphere and is known for having some of the best gelato we’ve encountered in this region of Italy, notably at Nughene il gelato. Their pistachio gelato is particularly exceptional.
Bogliasco also features a beach, Spiaggia Libera, which, while bustling, offers a lovely opportunity for a refreshing dip if temperatures rise.
