Following our initial journey to Vienna, I was confident that a return to the city was imminent.
This inclination was partly a result of the numerous attractions still left to explore (particularly those highlighted in these comprehensive recommendations). However, the primary motivation arose from the invitation to participate in an engaging weekend challenge organized by Mastercard in collaboration with Vienna Wurstelstand, renowned for being Vienna’s English-speaking magazine.
The concept revolved around experiencing Vienna through the eyes of the locals—savoring meals, shopping, and ultimately discovering aspects of the city that are often overlooked by typical visitors.
