Hermann Bungalows Opening in Palm Springs

Palm Springs is renowned for its vibrant art scene, beautiful golf courses, hot springs, luxurious spas, and high-end hotels. On March 1, the desert oasis will unveil a new property: Hermann Bungalows, created by designer and hotelier Steve Hermann, who also runs L’Horizon Hotel and Spa next door.

Design Features

Hermann Bungalows will consist of 24 exclusive rooms featuring midcentury modern furnishings and design accents that reflect the surrounding landscape through natural color palettes. Hermann has elaborated, “I wanted [Hermann Bungalows] to blend seamlessly with the stunning desert backdrop, showcasing an organic flow, clean lines, and a minimalist aesthetic.”

Amenities

This thoughtfully designed retreat features an entryway leading to an 85-foot, zero-edge pool. Additionally, each bungalow includes private outdoor seating areas and bars, providing picturesque views of the pool and mountains. Inside, amenities consist of floor-to-ceiling windows, elegant Venetian marble floors, stone walls, and innovative TOTO smart toilets.

Hermann highlights, “We have crafted a modern desert haven where no design aspect is overlooked, catering to world travelers seeking a stylish and serene escape.” The property comprises 20 junior suites, two studio suites, and two one-bedroom suites. Notably, four rooms come with enclosed backyards, three feature jacuzzi tubs, and 12 include both indoor and outdoor showers.

Guests will have the convenience of accessing the Hermann Bungalows via L’Horizon Resort and Spa, which emphasizes the hotel-within-a-hotel concept. Bungalow guests will enjoy dining at L’Horizon’s acclaimed restaurant, Sopa, along with other luxury amenities, including an impressive spa.
