The train ride from Berlin’s central station to Potsdam takes just over 40 minutes, making it an accessible day trip. In fact, it is often quicker than commuting between certain stations in Central London!
Exploring Potsdam
My first visit to Potsdam was a mix of excitement and frustration as we had only decided to visit late in the morning. After some sightseeing in Berlin, we reluctantly made our way to Potsdam in the early afternoon.
Upon arrival, we quickly realized that Potsdam is far more extensive and beautiful than we initially anticipated. With so much to see and do, time felt limited. The sights we intended to explore left us eager for more.
Traditional Christmas Market Experience
As the sun began to set, we made our way to the Sanssouci Palace. The golden light cast a warm glow, making it a picturesque sight. We were particularly excited about experiencing the traditional German Christmas market.
Conclusion
