Under Canvas is ready to host glampers at its 10th location, which just might be its best yet.

The Under Canvas Bryce Canyon in Southwest Utah recently opened for its inaugural season on August 4, expanding the renowned glamping experience.

“With access to the outdoors being more in demand than ever, delivering a new opportunity for travelers to get outside and connect with nature at our 10th camp couldn’t be more exciting,” said Matt Gaghen, CEO of Under Canvas. “The Bryce Canyon region is known for exceptional hiking and biking with beautiful landscapes and easy access to multiple national parks and monuments. Given the popularity of this destination, Under Canvas Bryce Canyon is a highly anticipated addition to the brand’s camps along the Grand Circle.”

Situated on 750 acres of secluded high mountain plains, this new glamping camp offers breathtaking views of Mount Dutton and the Escalante Mountains. Moreover, it adheres to Under Canvas’s commitment to sustainable travel with fully off-the-grid operations, featuring self-sustaining solar energy and eco-friendly amenities, such as pull-chain showers and low-flow toilets in each tent.

The camp is located just a 15-minute drive from Bryce Canyon National Park, joining other properties in the Grand Circle, including camps near the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Moab, Utah, and Lake Powell-Grand Staircase.

At the new Bryce Canyon outpost, travelers will find 50 safari-style canvas tents equipped with private en suite bathrooms for both comfort and privacy. Inside each tent, guests can expect cozy king-size beds, USB charging packs, bedside lanterns, and wood-burning stoves. Additionally, this location features the Stargazer Tent, which includes a window above the bed for stargazing at night. Notably, the camp also offers a unique Hoodoo Suite Tent, adjoined by a private deck with a fire pit and outdoor area, making it perfect for families or groups.

Of course, this Under Canvas destination also boasts numerous amenities in common areas, featuring West Elm furnishings, both indoor and outdoor dining options, and ample programming in partnership with local outfitters. Notably, pets are welcome at Under Canvas locations, with amenities including Pendleton blankets and dog beds available for furry guests.

Under Canvas Bryce Canyon is officially open for guests. However, the season will close on September 26, 2022, with subsequent years scheduled to run from May through September.
